Hypoglycemia is a medical name for low blood sugar. It results when your glucose level drops below the normal range. This condition may seem a disorder on its own, but it is actually a sign of an underlying disease. Hypoglycemia symptoms vary from patient to patient and from attack to attack. Symptoms can range from mild to severe depending on how low your blood sugar is. The blood sugar level should be around 70 – 120 mg/dL. Hypoglycemia occurs when the glucose level goes below this range.
